My opinion is the morality issue lays in the support and working for a corporation who makes billions off of slave labor. A corporation who knowingly sells goods that are a product of living conditions no human being should endure for a few pennies a day. Forget all the other stuff, these are questions we must ask, working or shopping there.

Wal-Mart normally does not "give" anything away. There is an alternate lifestyle organization that purchases in bulk from Wal-Mart and resells them to bring in money for the organization. They do the work and pay for the merchandise so Wal-Mart gives them nothing. Wal-Mart makes money off these people instead of making the donations that has been reported.
Why cannot a real Christian do any job that is legal, honest and ethical?
What is wrong with saying "Happy Holidays"? You are merely wishing people happiness during a period of time. You are not wishing them God-Speed in sin but just to be happy. I would love to see everyone on earth to be happy.

Most businesses that deal with the public require their employees to say "Happy Holidays" versus "Merry Christmas." They do this because there are several different religions and some different holidays around that time of year. Asking if a Christian can work at Wal*Mart is like asking if a Jew, Atheist, or Pagan can work there. The job itself has nothing to do with religious beliefs.

YES, A REAL CHRISTIAN CAN WORK AT WALMART , IT'S NOT UP TO US, WHAT WAL MART DOES WITH SOME OF IT'S MONEY, WE CAN'T CONTROL WHAT ANY OF OUR EMPLOYERS DO WITH THERE MONEY. AS LONG AS WE DO OUR JOBS THE BEST THAT WE CAN, AND NOT GO AGAINST GODS WORD. AND FOR THE HAPPY HOLIDAYS, IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST CHRISTMAS CELEBRATED AT THAT TIME OF YEAR...THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS, NEW YEARS EVE, NEW YEARS, SO I DON'T SEE A REAL PROBLEM WITH SAYING HAPPY HOLIDAYS, YOUR JUST WISHING THEM THE BEST FOR ALL OF THE HOLIDAYS, AND I REALLY DON'T THINK GOD CARES TOO MUCH ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WHEN YOU SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS, SO IF SOMEONE HAS A PROBLEM SAYING IT, THEN JUST DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS, JUST SAY GOOD DAY, OR GOOD WEEKEND, SOMETHING LIKE THAT. AND I HAVE HEARD A LOT OF WALMART EMPLOYEES TELL ME MERRY CHRISTMAS ANYWAY, SO I DON'T THINK THAT THE RULE IS REALLY ENFORCED ...SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, I FORGOT THAT I HAD THE CAPS KEY ON AND WHEN I STARTED I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE TAKING IT OFF. GOD BLESS.

Hey I work at WalMart. Actually I am quitting tomorrow. But even if that is true what you say about alternative lifestyle groups, they do not take any money out of our pay to do so, so I am fine with it. In fact its good of them. As to the last part you are entirely wrong, they have never censored us at all. In fact one day I wore two Christian wristbands and they never even said anything against it.
And WalMart pays me better then Safeway and Sears did. They have my full support.

Friend, trying to "prove something" to someone else usually results in something being proven to you instead.
If Joseph could be a leader in Pharaoh's kingdom, if Daniel could be part of Nebuchadnezzar's court, then I am positive a Christian can be part of Wal-Mart's empire.
god bless

They've actually withdrawn their support of these groups. Nevertheless, it is impossible to work without supporting every single person in the world in some way, since we become a part of an international economy. The responsibility we have to care for our families trumps our distaste for those philosophies we inadvertently support.
