You are forgetting about the biggest pimp of all poker players worldwide.... the notorious Sammy Farha. I would absolutely rate him as my poker hero. He is wittiest player I've ever watched play, and I love his off the wall comments. An example would be when, on high stakes poker early last season, upon his arrival at the high stakes room, a player asked Sammy where he had been. He quickly replied with... "Practicing."!
Of course you can't forget, on another episode, when faced with a raise and a reraise in front of him preflop, he says "I think I'm supposed to reraise it here", as he glances around the the table, then says "Awe, I better look at my cards first!" Classic Sammy!!!
"When I die, I want to come back as Sammy Farha!"

I find that having heros may not be the best for my mentality. Daniel Negraneau seems to be a worthy competitor. I have learned much from Mike Caro. I started reading Harrington's tournament books.
