Does the Devil get to enter an "Amicus Curiae" brief?
If the court doesn't let the legal representatives of His Infernal Majesty file a brief, then they'll be giving his lawyers grounds for a discrimination ruling. This is nothing to sneer at when you consider that at any given moment, the majority of lawyers can be safely assumed to have sold their souls to Satan a long time ago....

In order to proceed with the suit, he must be able to produce the defendant or at least prove the defendant exists. One cannot sue a nonexistent entity. So I guess it is up to the senator to prove the existence of God and then produce him or proof of him for the trial...

It's a ripoff of a plot from an old movie called "The Man Who Sued God". What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Suing God??? (LOL to near manic proportions.)
Good luck getting a payout for that one.
I don't know.....some people.
Actually I'm reminded of a movie that comedian Billy Connolly made in Australia called; "The Man that Sued God."
If you can find a copy of it, give it a go and watch it.
The only victory in court you can get re: humanity v god is a moral one in my opinion.

Stupid publicity stunt.
There's no question that it will get thrown out, but it sure did get an awful lot of free national press for a smalltime local politician, didn't it?

Love encompasses all sciences.
The greatest is the science of love.
In loving you rest in Father's Love, a heavenly love.
Law is nothing in forgiving.
