nope only had rabbits for pets

No I haven't raised a rabbit or a pig for food.

As a kid my folks raised rabbits to sell. The ones that didn't sell went to the frying pan. Rabbit is better than chicken, but you can cook it the same.

Yes we raised rabbits. They were good.

But they were not pets, they were strictly for eating.

rabbit, nope. pigs yes. and they are smelly. but good for cooking. i hope it helps

I can´t even imagine it!! We got a live turkey when I was little as a gift (so that we would eat it FRESH) and after they killed it and served it... my siblings, my mom and myself cried at the table and none of us where able to even try it!!
I guess I'm just the kind of person who has to buy them dead and packed at a supermarket! but that´s just me!

well we tried to do so with my family when I was little but we always felt sorry for them :( and kept them as pets :)
