Okay frankly I dont wanna go to hell. But I also dont wanna go to heaven as it is nothing without the people you love who some might be in hell. And also I dont want the chance of being reincarnated and coming back to this $#!T#0L3 of a world that manking has messed up and will keep messing up. And frankly I dont feel like being here when the world ends or the rapture comes.

Which is why I dont want an afterlife. I just want an eternal sleep and no afterlife. So yeah, why do I need to go to hell or heaven? What if I dont want either?

Cessation of existence is not an option.
You are a spirit being.
Spirit beings never cease to exist.
It's either eternal life,
or eternal destruction.
If you don't desire eternal life,
it is because you have never met The Life - the uncreated Life of the Living God.

No you don't have to go to heaven or hell, you can just cease to exist, this is the way it will be for many but when you say you don't want eternal life do you really know what you are refusing? It's not life as we know it today that the Bible speaks of when it talks of everlasting life, but it is talking about a cleansed earth, populated by righteous humans who will be loving, caring and helpful toward each other being each others friends not foes. Nobody will have the need to lock their doors, because nobody will be violent or steal things from others or hurt them in any way, No-one will ever have to die again and there will not be anymore sorrow tears or pain ever again all these things will be done away with(Revelation21:3,4)

Dear fq,

Esther is absolutely right. Once a soul is born, it remains eternal. This physical body will perish, but the soul lives on, either with God forever or without God forever. It’s the reason Christians almost beg people to accept Jesus Christ. Literally, hell is the most horrendous place anyone could be in. And it’s eternal. Jesus Christ is the only Way by which we could be reunited with God in this lifetime onto the next. You must be a very sincere person. It’s hard to be live sincerely in a crooked world. But Jesus could help you with that too if you’ll let Him. As for not being with the people you love in heaven, how about if you help them go to heaven too?

If Heaven and Hell exists, I'm sure Heaven without your loved ones is still the better choice than Hell (where you will still be without your loved ones); unfortunatly, there's no other choice. If reincarnation is true, then it's not like you'll remember you've been here before, so it'll never feel like eternity. Who knows, maybe in some of your lives, you might actually enjoy life with mankind.

How can you pre-judge something you never had exposure to ? Quite frankly; anyone can make this claim from their own comfort zone they currently are wrapped in. You haven't been revealed the NEED yet, for your God becoming the major part of your life (yet). The future for this earth, as you alluded to, doesn't appear to be too bright. God would never force "eternal life" on you. You have the God-given gift of free moral agency (choice). BUT; the unconditional love of God, once realized, I guarantee that you will change your present position. The future - eternal one looks very appealing since this earth will be reconditioned by Jesus at His return and I'm sure you will desire to be with everyone else there, on it. It is God's good pleasure to give the Kingdom to you !

We are created in GODs image and his alone. We were at one time the the garden o eaden where we could do no wrong, then Adam decided to screw it all up and eat the fruit...
With that said, man has two options on the afterlife, and even if you don't whant one what is so bad about heaven?
The only thing people get caught up on is the fact of losing there old ways and starting over. They do not want to stop (Partying, sleeping around, drugs, etc.) sinning or even make an attempt to stop.

ok there is nothing bibically to support reincarnation so i cant say i believe in that. the bible does say Heaven or Hell. we are dead at this point we have no choice where we go. you have no choice what funeral home your family really puts you in or you dont have a choice if you are buried or cremated at this point so at this point your choices are up. so you have to make decisions while still alive and your going to one or the other. my chose was Heaven i really like the streets of gold and Jesus lots more to enteral flames and satan. as far as the soul just going away it will the soul will go back to the dirt and the spirit will go to Heaven. thats why when Jesus died on the cross his last words was to God i give my spirit. so now its up to you please choose wisely.

My two cents from a bible-believing perspective:

There are only two destinations - heaven or hell. Considering that you definitely don't want to go to hell, then heaven is your choice. Don't let things like not seeing the people you loved here on earth there in heaven bother you because the Bible says that all tears will be wiped away. That means you won't recognize those people anymore. All carnal attachments we've made here can't be brought there. Heaven won't be heaven if you somehow feel wrong or sad that you don't have your loved ones with you.

I hope that somehow helped. God bless! :)

Your soul is eternal, it's your free will that decides whether to be with God or seperated. I fully understand about friends and loved ones. The only place we will have any relationships will be in heaven. Hell is totally isolated. Choosing not to believe won't change the outcome. Remember, there are NO atheists in either place, only on Earth.

tale: a guy died and become despatched to a grand luxury inn the place he unearths each thing he needs for convenience. whilst he performs video games, he constantly wins. daily is the comparable. quickly he grew to become very bored and could not take it anymore so he informed his handbook that he hates heaven and demanded to be despatched to hell somewhat. His handbook spoke back "Who suggested that's heaven? that's hell." -- Twilight Zone i don't understand what the afterlife is like yet you're making a particular-minded assumption like the guy in the tale. perhaps you're careworn with guilt, sorrow or shame and additionally you think of only the entire end of existence is the only factor which could loose you from it. i'm able to only pass so some distance as advising you to have endurance and have faith in God. It does not propose you ought to offer up your livelihood. Your decision.
