i have yet again been reported for asking a question on yahoo answers.Yet my question did not violate any community polocies, yes i am appealing it,though i'm sick and tired of these religous nuts out there trying to impose there beliefs on me on yahoo answers!!! Have you had a similar experience?Or would you just like to express your opinion about these childish religous nuts who think we should only be asking questions pertaining to the bible, and nothing to do with actual everyday life experiences,i hope this does not get taken off cause it could be considered a rant!

I presume the question which someone reported was in the Singles & Dating Section?

Everyone has a right to their opinion. I do, you do, the religious folks do. But I absolutely agree with you, NOBODY SHOULD REPORT AN ANSWER ON HERE UNLESS IT ACTUALLY VIOLATES THE TERMS OF SERVICE. There are many answers given on here I disagree with, but would never consider reporting.

If you don't like the answers other people on here give, then don't participate and allow the free flow of ideas to continue without interference.

TO THE RELIGIOUS FOLK: Please feel free to answer a question in any way you fell is appropriate, but don't report questions and answers simply because you disagree with them.

Thanks!

It might get taken off for being in the wrong category. To answer your question, I don't see this happening. I think it may seem that people impose religion upon you because you draw attention to yourself in that regards. Just drop it... all the talk about religion. Why should it matter to you? If your faith or absence of it is strong, then fine. Keep it that way, and keep it to yourself, lest you'd want to be a hypocrite.

How do they do that if you don't go to the religious and spiritual section? If you don't like what they say, do not go there, since that is where the religious and atheists alike like hang out. Is this why you are asking your question in singles and dating which have nothing to do with your question? They fight and disagree, and it makes it interesting. However you can say the wrong thing and no matter who you are, you will either get suspended or get your answer or question removed.
You need to be prepared to be able to deal with what happens. I wrote "yawn, snooooooooooore, on a religious question, and I am religious. I got reported. I didn't die from it. lol

I completely agree with lee lee.

on the grounds that's what the non secular stable does, for this reason the be unsleeping "non secular" previous the be unsleeping "stable." yet all individuals tries to impose their values on others, no longer in basic terms the non secular wackos. The liberals attempt to impose their ethics on others by skill of forcing people to help charities, which includes planned parenthood, that would violate their own values.

Trying to impose your beliefs on everybody else is the root cause of all the problems today, that's the reason behind jihad (some hardliners wants everybody else to accept their religion or they threat to kill everybody). I don't know what they would accomplish ultimately. A million dollar question can be why people just let others live the way they want. Why they don't understand there might be more than one way to reach to god. Do you ever think what you have done today to make your life better? (American history X)

They take off just as many zealots ranting against atheists. Most likely you said something really hurtful and offensive and if you actually CHECK the guidlines one of the chief directives is to keep it civil and avoid mean-spirited ranting. It had to be pretty bad to get yanked though. Grow up and learn how to conduct civil discource on controversial subjects instead of just throwing temper tantrums.

I think you are just the kind of guy I am looking for. I would like to marry you . I am not married and I hope you are not either. Do you want me to contact you about this? I mean, I really think we were "meant to be"! I have been looking for someone like you for a long time! I really think this would work! I want to have your baby also! This is not a joke and some people say I am too straight forward sometimes. But if I see something I want I go for it and I want you! Luv-ya!

I get that all the time. I've even tried to ask what I did wrong and got nothing. I think Yahoo just punishes anyone who is accused of wrongdoing. I am the opposite of politically correct, so people usually don't like my opinions.

I got asked at a Culvers fast food restaurant one time if I thought I was saved. I can deal with it online, because I can ignore it, but when I am eating a cheeseburger that crosses the line. Back off! -s

Personally I am of the belief "I may not agree with your religion, but I will defend to the death your right to have it". Me, I'm Roman Catholic, but have nothing against any other religion. I believe that "faith" (or not) is a matter of choice.
My daughter, a wiccan, showed me a verse which I think sums it up for me.
"God is a light, burning in a mutli-colored shade. Depending on where you stand, you see your own shade, your own color, but the LIGHT within remains the same".
May we all find our own peace, in our own way.
