Yes, I will keep you in my prayers! I will also post your request with some prayer warriors. Remember, that the God we worship is a God of second chances. We sometimes make big mistakes....I have! But know He is a BIG God who is able to forgive and rebuild your life! There is no problem that is too big for Him! Lay your burdens at the foot of the cross of salvation! You are so very loved by God that He sent His son to die for you! I will also pray for healing and the other family. I will pray for your family and dear children. May the Lord walk with you! You will be in my prayers, Mike!

Yes you and your children and loved ones are in my prayers as are the family members of the victim of your tragic accident. Just remember this, you didn't intend to take the life of that innocent person, even though you may have done something reckless or foolish, that's why it's called an accident rather than an intention. Turn this time in prison into a positive, take up a course of study and come out a better person. God bless you and yours.

Lord,
Touch both of these families that have a lost. We all make dumb decisions and choices. Lord you tell us we have the choice of cursing or blessing- Life or Death and that you want us to choose Life. Let this situation be covered and there will be something good that comes from it for He knows he was wrong and is taking full responsibility for it.
For you turn what was meant to bad into something good.
Let the other family be able to forgive this man and draw close to you. For you are can give them peace.
I pray that Mike and His family have peace. The peace that passes all understanding.
Let this man forgive himself for this while he is there.
And be able to search whole heartedly for you.
Please allow his children to be at peace and know daddy loves them. Let his wife be strong and find her strength in you.
Let her burdens be light as this time can be difficult.
We put our trust in You all the time in the good and bad.
In Jesus's Mighty Name we Pray,
AMEN!!

Thanks for your honesty. I will say that I am glad that you are going to prison. I will pray for you, but mostly for your family. If you felt any responsibility to your family and children you would have been a little bit more careful. I will also pray for the family of the person that you killed. This is something that many will live with all of their lives. Isn't it a wonder how one moment can change so many lives.

Hi Mike,
of course I will pray for you...your family...and the other family. I will not criticize you as I am sure you are doing that enough yourself. God does love you and will forgive you. ( 1John 1:9) if you confess your wrongdoing to Him. You are just as important to God as anyone else. I will pray that God will give you the strength to take your sentence and for your family to have protection while you are gone. I will also pray that God wrap His arms of love around you and your family and that this experience will make you a better man. God bless you and yours.

I don't really pray as I am not religious.. but how about I give you some words of wisdom? Learn from this don't feel sorry for yourself, feel sorry for those you hurt. Promise yourself you will come to understand there is no such thing as a mistake, we all make choices some are good some are bad, and some hurt people because we gave no thought beforehand to who our choices could affect. Whatever choice you made that led to the death of that other person is over, you cannot change it but you can learn from it to make better choices, to think about your actions and how they will affect others. Just because you caused the death of another does not mean you are a bad person, it means you are human and fallible, just as we all are. I forgive you, but only if you learn from this to make better choices and to strive to choose the course of action in life that will not bring negative results to others. Never think of yourself.. think of yourself in the shoes of another... how would your choice affect others? and how would you feel in their place? When we learn to do unto others as we would have others do unto us.. there are less bad choices to be made.

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. What a loving father, to ask for prayers for your children! Very wise you are to do so!

In as much, you can count on me to pray for you, your family and especially, your children! God bless you!

I will pray for the family who lost their family member as well as pray for your family and for you.

Please lift up the other family and your family--while you are in prison. Your prayers may make the difference in both of these families to heal.

In Jesus name.
Amen.

Mike: Don't be so hard on yourself. We, all have messed up at times and I'm sure that there are Christians, who have done worse things than you have, in their pre-conversion days especially. Yes; I will pray for you, your family and that your time in the slammer will be a time for you to reflect on God and His unconditional love and grace for you and all of us human beings. I have been in the slammer myself, many years ago - and God used the bad experience to begin to turn me to Him. I hope your wife can be strong too and be a great help to you in your time of need.
There was a man, who started riots, and spent time in jail - his name was Saul known better as Paul the Apostle. Many Christians will pray for you Mike !
