I GET IT TOO!!!! I'm so excited, I never even told anyone!! For me it doesn't really hurt though, it just tingles and tickles the inside of my mouth, or actually the inside of my cheeks, right?? And for me, it only happens about once a month. I have to start paying closer attention to which foods cause it. Perhaps a tart nectarine....Does something like that ring a bell with you??

I do think it's a nerve thing, but nothing having to do with our teeth. And I don't think a doctor would know what we're talking about!! Let's just start writing down which foods do it, and avoid those foods. You get a star from me, babydoll!! :)

I get tingling in my cheeks when I've eaten something too sweet, particularly syrup on pancakes or on a waffle. My adult daughter has the same reaction. We have no clue why this happens.

It sounds like your salivary glands are having a weird reaction to some foods. You really should see your Doctor about this or a Dentist.
