Dr D, The reason you see this ? is because I DON'T have the answer.
I suspect a typo, as do the others before you.

i am thinking its impossible... but if it is, i would suggest putting parenthesis around the 5 on the right side to make it so that the left side had to be equal to 5 but 14/2*3=21, 1(4/7)-15 doesnt work and you can't have 14/6... i mean im pretty sure u cant do this one but the parenthesis around the 5 thing might help

..... well... i can't figure it out.
the answer can equal 15 or 5... so

14 / 7 - 5 * 3 = -13
14 / (7 - 5) * 3 = 7/3
14 / (7 - 5 * 3) = 7/-4
(1(4) / (7 - 5)) * 3 = 6
1(4) / (7 - 5 * 3) = -2/4
1(4) / ((7 - 5) * 3) = 2/3
(14 / 7 - 5) * 3 = -9
14 / 7 (- 5) * 3 = -30

i give up....

I'm tempted to just say
14 / 7 - (5 * 3 = 15) >..<

This obviously cannot be done with parentheses only. If it can, why don't you show us the answer?

*EDIT*
Well sometimes people post questions they know the answer to, just to challenge the community.
