sweetzy---sorry religious sites don't count for anything.....as I've always said if the ONLY place you can find a "truth" is on a religious site, then it's certainly not a truth at all.

Never
Science deals in facts and evidence, and searches for Truth; Religion deals in Faith, and Believes it has found Truth.

actually, scientists are finding more and more evidence that points to a creator. Of course, hardcore evolutionists and atheists will completely ignore any of this information or create arguments to go against it, so you don't hear about it much, but it's the truth. My uncle is, or was i should say, a VERY extreme atheist. He has taught physics at a prestigous university for 25 years and also does work in research. He knows evolution and the big bang theory inside and out. Everytime we would have family get togethers he would cause the worst arguments about religion and science. Recently, he said the more research they do, the more an intelligent designer makes sense. He said that lots of scientists out there do not want to accept the fact that there could be an intelligent designer, so usually that evidence is ignored by the extreme evolutionists. It is not the kind of evidence that very extreme evolutionists would accept. I guess I shouldn't really call it evidence. It's more like reasons. But scientists that have an open mind about evolution and intelligent design can see that if you really examine the "evidence" and arguments and are not biased, a creator does make sense.

It was a scientific claim that the world was flat and that larger items fall faster than smaller objects.
The question is, how much of what is popular in the scientific community will still be popular in just 25 years from now that you can believe in science?
However, are you suggesting that the created can disprove the Creator? Please, prove there is no God so we know that we are just flukes of the universe and have no reason or purpose to be on the earth. ...let alone aware of our existance.
Show me where civil or human rights fit into the survival of the fittest religion. Why should world peace be favored instead of the lifestyle created by unit 731 or Hilter or any where man's inhumanity to man reached a whole new level.
And if you where being torturer needlessly, what would you be able to say was WRONG with the torturer's behavior? On what basis would you have a WRONG instead of your opinion which you were trying to cram down someone else's throat?...scientifically speaking of course!

Well I could write a long answer with big words, but why bother. NEVER.
Edit-DS M that was science that proved science wrong, not religion proving science wrong.
Edit-Former fool did you know almost 75 percent of the earth is still covered with water? Wow you just proved to me there was a global flood.

What sort of religious claims. I could say, "ooh, i continuously read books disproving scientific claims, when are they gonna disprove religious claims?".
So, why are the scientific discoveries made against things like evolution swept under the rug huh?

Do you truly "know" anything scientific?
I was under the impression that science doesn't prove things. It merely postulates possibilities.
If you haven't learned that yet, then you are just playing.

Just one of many examples.....the Bible stated the earth was spherical and suspended in space long before it could be observed...as a matter of fact, only a few hundred years ago, top scientific minds thought it was flat.

Actually, there have been many scientific developments lately that adhere closer to scripture than previous scientific thought.
For instance, we now know that man did NOT descend from apes...and that all people do descend from one common woman whom scientists call "Eve." You can read more about that at www.nationalgeographic.com
Or can you...?
