grocery carts...do you put them back??

yes, I hate when people leave them rolling around in the wind to make dents on my car or leave them in a parking space so no one can park there- treat others the way you want to be treated- I would like people to have consideration for my things and my time so I will have that same consideration for others.
Also, it is a huge disrespect to make the people that work in the store to have to go out there in the rain and cold weather just to round up shopping carts so people coming into the store can have them available and dry.
It is just common courtesy!

Are you a healthy individual?

Then walk the few extra steps to put the cart back.

It's the same concept I see with all young people. They drive or take the bus SIX BLOCKS from their apartment building to the college work out building. How utterly foolish. Finding ways to exercise like walking back your own cart and an elderly persons cart will help you stay in shape and be the kind and generous thing to do.

Yes, you put them back.

Always!

It's not only one of the most courteous things you can do, but it's a great form of exercise walking the cart back to its' corral.

We would have far more parking spaces in a crowded mall, and fewer less dents on a windy day on our cars, if more people got off their lazy you-know-what and walked two feet.

I watch these women unload their goods into the back of their SUV, and then push the cart up against the back of the car parked next to them. What are they thinking? I just want to scream at them!!!

I'm so darn courteous, I even walk a cart back to the store that doesn't even belong to me, as I am entering the store.
What a concept!

Grocery carts actually have a mind of their own - that's why they're all over the place.

Actually- It would be nice if more people would attempt to return the shopping-carts to a specified area.

When I am done using one, I roll it to the designated area for the carts. If there is not one, and I am long way from the front of the store, I prop it up on the curb planter thingy. I just don't leave it so it will be in the way of others, or hit the other cars.

Yes, they should be put back in the areas that are designated for carts.

I take the time to put them back. It is just a few extra steps and won't kill me. I notice when I do, others look and sometimes they do too. I guess it's really up to the individual. I can understand someone who is disabled, not putting them back, but I think the rest of the people just got lazy at some point.
