Everyone sins. God offers us forgiveness through Jesus Christ, but you have to accept the forgiveness to avoid Hell. Why should God give someone eternal life in Heaven if they reject that He Himself died for them?
You can't just expect to have the answers handed to you. Faith is required for any belief.
Jesus was the only God of any religion to have lived a sin-free life and who actually rose from the dead.

You present a very good and objective question. I am a Christian, and from my own experience and research, I have discovered firstly, that there is no such thing as "hell" fire. Although the word "hell" is mentioned throughout various places within the Holy bible, it is a very mistranslated word.
The word for "hell" in both, the Old And New Testaments, is rendered "Sheol" and "hades" respectively. These two renditions are more correctly translated as "grave" or "hole", accordingly.
Further, to this, it is no fault of non-believers, that God, the Father, has not "drawn" him or her to Him. It is God, the Father, who decides to "call" or "draw" a person to Himself - not Jesus nor any Christian (see: John 6, verse 44) . God calls the shots and if a person is not selected or elected to be "called" into the Christian faith, that is NOT their problem but God's ! In conclusion, therefore, God takes full responsibility for any person not being called at this time. It is later, during the reign of Jesus Christ on this earth, where ALL the "uncalled" will become "called" into the Christian faith and receive eternal life, along with those "called" and elected now. God is in the SAVING business !!!

I've had people say "you have to believe in something" many times. Just to believe in anything is important for most. My nature now is not of blind belief but the want of evidence.
If you did not "believe" in god(s) and some how it turned out that there is one, what do can be said? Not enough evidence makes a good answer. Would god accept a lie of believing when you don't? Or understand why honestly that you can't.
Richard Dawkins "The God Delusion" is recommend.

Maybe there should be something like Summer School for Non-believers at the Pearly Gates. All non-believers get a lesson on Christianity from St. Peter, and at the end of their lesson, get to choose whether or not to accept God and Jesus into their afterlives.
Besides, i know that a lot of people won't touch the Bible with a 10-ft. pole because of the perversion it has gone through by human beings. It's not fair to send someone to hell for not wanting to believe something that has been so bastardised through the centuries.

Look God did all he could do to make sure that you don't go to hell. He sent his Son to take punishment for sins he did not commit but we did, and who died an excruciating death on our behalf to reconcile us back to God. He did nothing wrong -- yet was willing to undergo this for everyone.
What more do you want from God anyway?
It has already been proven that Jesus existed historically, and the authenticity of the scriptures has been proven, and because Jesus told us about God, I believe what he said.
Nevertheless, if you want nothing to do with God, there is going to come a point in your life (or afterlife) when God honors your request.

There is only one true God. The several others are all false gods. The bible says in John 3:17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." God does not want to send anyone to hell. Matthew 18:14 says, "Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish." You have been given a choice. Try him... God will prove himself real to you.

Why woudnt you believe in God in the first place....who created you..who gave you your eyes your ears and all your other organ..well you cant guess wrong..If you were actually willing to look for the truth and learn about the other religions out there you will clearly see the truth...but if you just sit down and listen to wat people say your not going to find anything..you need to search for yourself...You think about it How could there be possibly more than one god...All the prophet from Adam, Abraham, Moses,Jesus, and muhammed(peace be upon them)...came down with one message worship the one and only god which is Islamic monotheism...
The Quran recognizes the fact that Jesus had no human father, but this does not make him the son of God, or God himself. By this criterion, Adam would have been more entitled more entitled to be the son of God, because he had neither a father nor a mother, so the Quran draws attention to the miraculous creation of both in the following verses; " truly the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then He said upon him, 'Be' and hi was. (Al-Imran 3:59)
The Quran rejects the concept of Trinity God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit - as strongly as it rejects the concept of Jesus as the son of God. This is because GOD IS ONE. Three cannot be one. The Quran addresses Christians in the following verses from the Surrah entitled "An-Nisaa" (The Women)
People of the Book, do not go beyond the bounds in your religion, and say nought as to God but the Truth. The messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the messenger of God, and his word (Fulfilment of his word (Fulfilment of His command, through the word "Be", for the creation of Jesus) that he committed to Mary, and a spirit originating from Him (was given life by God). So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not 'Three'. Refrain, better is for you. God is only one God. Glory be to him-that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the Heavens and in the Earth; God suffices for a guardian.

He doesn't want to, that's why he sent Jesus down to take the punishment, which is death. Hell was never intended for us, it was only after the initial sin, that death came into the world, and hence we had to go somewhere when we died. Hell is just separation from God, anyone having sin forgiven can not be in the presence of someone who is Holy, or they would be destroyed, so, they go to Hell, separation from God

God doesn't need to prove His existence. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me."
He came Himself after He got tired of His prophets being butchered by pagans and non believers and cocky elders in the Synagogues. He said point blank what the truth is and it hasn't changed.
If you would read the scriptures with an open heart and not do it with such an in your face attitude you might be surprised.
He died on the cross for our sins, all of our sins. No other religion in the world can do this for you. Over 500 witnesses saw Him ascend and He promised He would return. God is not a liar.
And one of Satan's best tricks is to get you to NOT believe in Hell or in Satan. If he can lull you into being comfortable in sin, you are no threat to him.
Something to think about.
And on a quieter, gentler note, speaking from the heart, I too felt as you once did. I was in great pain from deep personal loss and in dispair. Jesus came through the pain to where I was, picked me up, and walked with me. But, I had to be broken first, because my pride was in the way. I had to be brought to the point where I finally was compelled to get on my knees and ask forgiveness and direction. I had to seek Him first. While life can some times be very hard, I know in Whom I have believed and I am not alone. I have grown. I don't mean in a boastful way, not in arrogance, but God isn't a liar. His promises are true.
And as a daughter of the King, I am not ashamed of the gospel. And as I know He loves all of us and cares about all of what we go through, it is my duty to share His love and compassion and salvation with others because I am commanded to in the scriptures.
. Christianity is not an exclusive club. Churches are not hotels for saints. They are hospitals for sinners, like me....and you.

OK, I'll bite. Taking the concept of the Bible and sermons literally, you're right to wonder. However, and this is my opinion only, if you take the general teachings of most religions, its basically "be good". Too simple an answer? Maybe. But I truly think that if you live a good life and there is in a fact a heaven, you'll have a seat there regardless of which God you believe in. The idea of God is just to have a central foundation to be kind to others. The religion you choose is arbitrary. Simply live a good life and if there's a heaven, you'll be welcome.
