Need more information.

Did you order something from this company, and they tacked additional charges to the order? How did you pay for your order? Did you not order from this company at all?

When you say "this place" do you mean like your Visa or MasterCard?

You can dispute the charges that you did not make. Depending on the card- more than likely, you would need to make that dispute in writing. The credit card company will then send notice to whichever company that reported the charges in question and request proof of those charges (i.e. a signed receipt, signed invoice, etc.). The company will have 30 days to provide the proof back to the credit card company. If they do not provide the proof or respond at all, then the credit card company will have to remove those disputed charges.

However, you are still responsible for paying for the charges that are valid. For instance, your balance is $2000 and you are disputing charges that total $500... you still need to make the payments on the $1500 balance that is correct.

Hope this helps and good luck.

So have you paid the portion that you did order? Did you receive the extra items? If so, have you tried to return them?

Send them a letter, certified, return receipt, indicating what portion of the bill you are disputing and the reason. Include payment for the portion you did recieve if you have not already paid that. Request that they provide proof that you did order the other items or credit those things off.
