Does anyone have any information about this? Please only serious answers.

If your going to get cancer...thyroid is the one you want b\c it is easily treated. Usually it is called papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland. A thyroidectomy (removal of the thyroid gland) will be preformed and then radiation via radioactive isotope (radioactive pill) where you stay quarantined to a hospital room for about a week.
I had it about 8 years ago and Im still here. You can't even see the scar unless I make it a point to point it out.

Take a look at this site. It offers a very readable discussion, and seems to cover a lot.

I have not heard of this lymphoma before. The good news is that it seems to be pretty curable.
