No ...it will degrade the over all sound. These cabinets are 'sound balanced' and this is particularly important with the sub-woofer.

The lack of 'punch' is an inherent problem in smaller sub-woofers like this. The only way to beat that is to buy a system with a larger sub-woofer. 'Punch' and cabinet size go together ...when it comes to a sub!

I have an Energy sub-woofer in my system and it goes down to 19Hz ...we can only hear down to 20Hz. Talk about hard hitting!

Most likely, no. It would do the opposite. The hole is needed for airflow so the speaker can move freely.

No the speaker needs the air to flex...

If you make it airtight you will damage the woofer.
