Don't throw any stones into their nest neither should you in any way disturb them. Hornets don't bother you unless you give them some reason their little mind will interpret as a threat to attack. Stay away from them. If you do perchance to find a hornet's nest or come in the presence of hornets, stay calm and don't make any fast moves, s l o w l y move away. Don't wear sweet flowery smelling perfumes, or carry syrupy sweet cokes, juices or sugary things like fruits that will attract them to you.

You can watch nature movies without getting stung by hornets. But real nature has hornets.

1. don't stick your finger in the hornets nest or any other body part. 2. open the door. 3. go find a nice wooded area. 4 apply super glue to your frontal area. 5 hug a tree

Bug spray, beekeepers suits, or... *gasp* reconnect in the winter! No hornets then, but you might want a parka/mitts/hat/etc. to keep warm, depending on where you live.

If you have a national geographic sized hornet problem, feed them. Away from where you want to be. Just a bowl of sweet deliciousness should work.

Do like I did today. Get a gun a blow the nest away then run like Daniel Boone when chased by a bear. Edit: One important reminder try not to aim gun towards people or where people might be.
