I do think that sometimes. If something happened to me, if even one prayer was answered that I knew HAD to be God, I'd probably believe.

As it is, though, no such thing has happened. Thus, I do not believe.

Miracles happen daily - think about the earth renewing itself..think about taking a breath, or your body healing an injury. As for prayer, they also create miracles. I read about a young woman who was dying of cancer. Her church did a vigil 24/7 with hands held and prayed. They did this for several days..switching groups, etc. The doctor had in run more tests, and she was completely free of cancer. I am not a particularly religious person, but I do know the power of many people praying together.

No I never thought like that, but I di at one stage doubt the existence of God, and I figured that I could be wrong so I thought that if I was wrong and he did exist then surely he would answer my genuine humble prayer for him to show me the path I should take, and this he did he has answered many all of my prayers.

For someone who believes, there may be many such occasions. For the incredulous nothing would seem to be out of the extraordinary.

God does not remove grounds for doubts at any time. That's His nature. No explanations. Trying to understand Him is sure to fail because He is Infinite. He is illogical, irrational, beyond our understanding.

Trusting God is the only way to know Him.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Heb. 11:6)

No. Why would a "miracle" cause me to believe in god(s)? Plus I'm not compelled to pray. No reason to.

When I saw my first miracle (a leg grow longer) I was sold. No one could do that but God.

I have already had that happen, and so I do, without question, believe in God. There are many things I don't understand, but I do believe.

Actually, MORE than one happened to me, but I was already a believer when they happened. God has literally wrapped His arms around little ol' me every time I need Him the most! How could I NOT believe!

God bless you. sweet girl!

Nope, but every day I wake up and say, "Christian god if you are real, strike me down and prove that you are." Never happens. But I guess I will die one day and sure as shootin' Christians will claim that obviously their god did that since I taunted their god. The fact that I did it my entire life won't matter of course.
