Lust means you want him tonight. Love means you want him there in the morning.

I've seen a few of these... Lust is greedy and Love is giving.

Lust is when you are with someone for your needs not their needs. Love is when you will do anything for that person to make them happy. Doesn't mean you can't love and lust someone, everyone's greedy once in a while.

Lust is demanding and rude, but real love expects nothing in return.
Lust is carnal, but love is cautious.
Lust is when a man treats you like a porn star, instead of a princess.
Lust last for just a moment, but true love last forever.
Lust is nothing but a fling, but genuine love expects a diamond ring.

Love is a constellation of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness. The meaning of love varies relative to context. Romantic love is seen as an ineffable feeling of intense attraction shared in passionate or intimate attraction and intimate interpersonal and sexual relationships. Though often linked to personal relations, love is often given a broader signification, a love of humanity, of nature, with life itself, or a oneness with the Universe, a universal love or karma. Love can also be construed as Platonic love, religious love, familial love, and, more casually, great affection for anything considered strongly pleasurable, desirable, or preferred, to include activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in the singular word love is often contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the concept's depth, versatility, and complexity.

Lust is any intense desire or craving for self gratification. Lust can mean strictly sexual lust, although it is also common to speak of a "lust for life", "lust for blood (bloodlust for short)", or a "lust for power" or other goals. The Greek word which translates as lust is epithymia (επιθυμια), which also is translated into English as "to covet".
