Not at all: Satan and his angels are among us...but will be throwen into the fire at the time of judgement.

The pit is the final judgement for satan... he is currently the Prince of the Power of the Air. The god of this satanic worldly system and he roams to and fro all over the earth like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He also has a certain amount of access to God... the case of Job proves this sufficiently. He is always accusing us before God... he is known as the accuser of the bretheren. He also works within the children of disobedience.

Satan is symbolism of sin. There is no physical devil living beyond the Earth's crust. The Devil is a symbol of evil. There is such a thing as negative energy. But that comes from people.

People create their own Hell. It spreads to others. It enters the mind and causes nightmares. It makes you question your faith in God and in your life. It makes you do things you normally would not do. And then when you look back at your mistakes, you go "oops! my bad!" And then you learn your lesson and move on.

Some mistakes have bigger responsibilities. But the center of the Earth does not contain a physical demon. If that were true then the Devil would already be on FOX News. We are all responsible for our own actions.

Why no, that's just silly. He is being held captive in the Pit of the Traitors--a frozen lake at the center of hell--where his three sets of jaws devour (respectively) Brutus,* Judas, and Cassius.

* Julius Caesar's assassin, not the British king, let alone the Popeye character.

No! Where DO you get your silly notions from???

Oh, wait - I got it - you're just tearing down the straw men you created in the vain imagination of your heart. Well, not a very good job. Try again, but make it more realistic next time.

Or, better yet, quit trying. Why not ask an intelligent question to discover an intelligent answer for a change?

As a Christian, my answer is an emphatic NO !!! This concept or misconception was introduced into Christianity by the Greeks (Hellenistic period), who in turn, received the spurious teaching from the Egyptians. This fear-mongering was employed by the authorities of each culture to scare the people into submission by telling them, they had an immortal soul and if he or she did not "tow the line", they would end-up in an ever-burning fire called "hell". Although "hell" is mentioned numerous times throughout the Holy Bible, it is a poor mistranslation of both, "Sheol" (Hebrew - Old Testament) and the Greek word "hades" ( New Testament). In both cases, the word is more properly translated into the words "grave" or "hole". It is amazing how this crept into Christianity by people. The God I serve is a most gracious and loving God, who is in the SAVING business.

No. The Bible never says he does. That's just what folks over the years have decided on their own. It's like the picture of the Devil with horns and a pointy tail. The Bible never describes him that way. It's just what people have imagined over the years.

He WILL end up in a firey pit, but it never says it's underground and it never says he's there right now. That pit is reserved for the end time.

Godspeed! I believe that Satan is here in the earth and not beneath the earth. He is here to confused the people of God-to confused us.

we cannot physically see Satan but we can feel him every time we make mistakes and we take advantage of the weaknesses of the people around us.

to cite you straight away (with spelling corrections), "If Christians are the idiots then why do Christians have faith in me yet Atheists do no longer???" Are you attempting to assert you're devil? Do you think of the Christians on R&S beleive you're devil? If it is real, which I doubt, than i might think of Atheists are greater perceptive. you're no longer devil. you're somebody on a working laptop or pc someplace attempting to have some relaxing stirring issues up. i don't have a difficulty with that, yet i think of you're "For entertainment purposes basically."

No. In fact, I do not believe in the devil (Satan) at all. This concept was created by "the church" from the pagan horned god who was the consort of the goddess.
