Hi estación has several different meanings, however in general these have similar uses that the English station.
1) estación de tren, autobús, metro - station
2) estación del año - season - verano, invierno, primavera,otoño
3) estación de invierno - winter resort
4) estación ecclesiastica - one of the phases of a procession, rosary praying and passion Friday - viernes de pasión - Vía Crucis, las Estaciones de la Cruz
5) estación eléctrica - an electric switching relay or small distribution central
6) estación de radio, tv- radio - tv station
7) estación de meteorología, carga, - operating place meteorological or weather center, cargo terminal
Verbo estacionar or estacionarse means to be destined as in the army or some official post

Well, I don't speak Spanish, only French and English, but I think it's station.
French: une station
English: a station
Spanish: estacion (I think)
