i wouldnt tell her just yet since youve only recently become close again. i know its wrong, but she will probably think its even more wrong that you snooped thru her personal stuff, even in the case that she leaves it out in the open. i'm assuming the victim here is your father? well whoever, maybe you can tell them or give a hint as to whats going on if that is what is really bothering you about the matter, ya know? well i wish ya the best! ;)

Well i'm in the same boat as you. I found out about my mom by reading her diary lol, My parents split up and I wanted to know why so I went on my adventure and did...I found out what I wanted, i kept it in for a very long time, and one night she was away i was drunk and called her and told her everything and she hung up on me I ended up punching a wall and breakin my hand in 2 places. lol. So my advice is if your going to tell her be sober and know what your going to say before you say it. But if your enjoying you guys being close, dont mess it up becuase for me, well i haven't been to my moms in over 2 months(N)..
good luck, lemme know what you decide!

Don't ruin the closeness between you and keep it real. Tell her the truth that you know. But be prepared that she may get upset that you went through her things...how would you feel if she did that to your things..would you feel she invaded your space? Would you want her to tell you she found out something about you? Would you want her to tell you? If I were in your shoes, I would talk to her about it.

Um, no...not unless you want to tell her your a sneaky snooper! Geez, your mom is a grown woman, she can do as she wishes (granted that she's not married). Why are you looking through her stuff anyways, if things are "going well between you"??
Stop snooping and leave mom alone. Maybe if you show her a little more trust she'll be more likely to share things with you.

Why would you need to? You found out by spying on her, you know it for a fact, so saying right out that you know would do what? Make you feel better? Hurt her? Ruin something for her? Examine your motives and then decide if it's worth it.

Very bad idea to read your mother's e-mail and text messages. Do not under any circumstances tell her what you found out. It is actually none of your business.
