You've already had a child, and you think you can go down to 115 lbs?

...Do you know how unrealistic that is? People MY age (who haven't had kids) don't even weigh that little! I'm your height, and I'm 128 lbs! Aim for 135 lbs, because your goal of 115 pounds just sounds like a joke.

Why do you think that you need to lose 30 pounds? Why 30? Why not 5? Why not 40?

You're 144--that's not huge and actually quite normal for you.

Focus on improving your healthy and your SIZE, not your weight. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat.

ALWAYS give yourself at least 1 year to get back into a pre-pregnancy weight.

ugh...your husband thinks you should. He sounds like a pig. You are at a very healthy weight for your height. If you insist on losing some weight (30 lbs is far too much though) try eating more natural foods (mostly fruits and veggies) and cut out as much processed food as you can.
Yoga is a fantastic exercise for new moms.

YOU ARE INSANE!!! I'm at 245 and am trying to lose weight - i would kill to be at 145. There is nothing wrong with your weight and if your husband thinks that (i'm going to assume that he brought up that more of a number) then you need to get out of this relationship and don't look back - my dad was the same way to my mom and they ended up in a nasty divorce with 2 kids in the middle. this is just gonna hurt you and your baby in the long run.

forget about how much you weigh and the BMI. the goal should be to get the body fat % to average levels or below for optimum health. for those that are not obese the BMI is near meaningless as it does not take the body composition into account. a person can have a low BMI and a very high percentage of body fat, making them very unhealthy.
