Have you spoken to you doctor about what you are feeling. I have had major depression for 20 years. I have a great team of doctors who help me and change my medication when needed. I walk a lot which helps, talking to people is a great way to help. There are also groups where you can go and talk to people. Good luck with it all

Hello ,
To avoid depression you need to stop thinking in a negative way , and it is also important to avoid toxic people , people who don`t give you the respect and care .
Also I have lived most of my life with my dad and it was not the best time I had .
so maybe it is a good thing that he`s away .
Good Luck :)

theres a few things you can do look in the mirror as many times as you like and tell your self that you love yourself like say yo ireally love you ,your the best trusted me it feels good it might even make you laugh whichs is really the best meds for depression and try what i saw on opar get a book and everyday write three things you are greatful for such as great hair day or waking up on time or a mothers smile or a friendly hello from a stanger.

Write him letters- either send them or keep them, and pray for him and about your relationship. Tell him how you feel when trying to deal with the situation. Writing is a great cathartic, which means' to put something on paper relieves' a lot of the anxiety. I used to write angry letters to people who were bad to me and that helped, even though I didn;t give them. Be thankful to help your depression, and reach out to someone else and help them to make it go away.

I try to deal with depression by identifying each problem I face and dealing with it as best as I can. If you're depressed for no actual reason though I'd suggest medical help.

It's normal to feel depressed about that. I am so sorry that you don't get to see him. Is there someone you can talk to? Try going to the school counselor and talk to them. Hang in there!
