I've seen people your age get married and be Happy together. However it changes depending on the people are you ready for this level of commitment. Also you have been together since you were young make sure there is not going to be the feelings that you missed out on the whole dating experience as this is not a good feeling to have in a marriage

Yes, you are too young to be engaged. It is wonderful that the two of you have been dating for about 5 years. You need to finish your high school, if you haven't done so. Then go to college, get your degree, get a stable job, and THEN get engaged and get married. If you really love each other then both of you can wait for a few years.

Im 19 my fiances 20 n we'r getting married next month (he's in the Marines). I think age is just a # as long as you are both mature n ready for this next big step.
Is this the person you want to spend forever with? Do you have a good form of communication? Can you talk through your problems without having a big fight? Do you trust him with all of your heart? Does he help you through your own personal problems?
If you answer yes to all then I say go for it! (I was asked all of those ?'s earlier today) CONGRATS! N GOOD LUCK!

statistics show that over half the engagements/marriages that occur under the age of 25 end up in divorce within a few years, so you can be a statistic but its worth a shot if you believe in your heart that you two can work out for the long run

Yes ,you are. go to college first and make sure you have plenty of money to start a family. Think how much a wedding, house ,car food , expenses like all the stuff for a house ,lamp ,bed stove and if you want to start a new family. So it would be best to wait .

yes. wait. and i'm not talking months. do you want to be able to drink (legally) at your own wedding? at this rate you could potentially be a mom by 20. once you guys have lived together for a while, in your own place (no parents), and each have jobs, see how you still feel.
