It's not weird. Humping is what dominant (alpha) dogs do to submissive dogs. It has nothing to do with sexuality. It's normal.

When they do it to a human, it's a problem. Dogs should never dominate people.

there is not any SUCH BREED as Malt-Shi. Its not a "hybrid", its a MUTT with a stupid made up call. maximum in all probability offered from some outdoor breeder or puppy mill. The mutt is humping the puppy on account which you're permitting her to accomplish that. in case you ultimate her whilst she does it then she won't. Nevermind dominance or however. in case you quit her from humping then she wont. She should not be allowed to dominate the different dogs besides.

She is not trying to mate. She is showing you that he is the boss or the dominate dog in the pack. You need to leash train the dog and make sure you show him you are the pack leader and in the dominate position. Training should be done in these steps: Exercise, (a walk on the leash) discipline, (correcting any bad behavior), reward, (praising the dog for correct behavior). All puppies try to hump, even females. It about dominance not the need to procreate.

Make sure the dog is submissive to you when you walk and play. Never let the dog lead you with the leash and when playing the dog should be taught to lay on its back and you should rub its belly. Never let the dog get on top of you while playing, it will assume dominance.

Nothing at all to do with sex, she is trying to dominate your husky mix. Males and females try to be dominant by humping the other dogs.

Humping of this nature is not sexual, it's about dominance. My Boston Terrier humps the recently acquired cat...go figure!

You know, you should really search previously asked questions first... there are like 5 open questions about dogs humping.

Humping = dominance. It's part of their social-play structure. Just leave it alone. It has nothing to do with sex whatsoever.

When dogs mount each other it is not necessarily sexual. Your IG is probably trying to show dominance over the other dog.

Huh, my girl does the same. I advise you go out (or in) and tell her no, and put her somewhere away from him. You might have to do this several times, but be consistent. If you slip once, all she learned will be ignored, and you will have to start all over again.
