Me and my friend Alex both 20 and 21at the time are gonna go hitch hiking or backpacking across europe and i was wondering what is there to do in Europe we are both gonna go dancing drink some alcohol go to some worldwar 2 museums maybe some other museums go to amstradam ukraine italy we will be in europe from 3 weeks to a month i would appreciate it if people answer my questions?

I suggest you get guide books for the countries you are going to visit, then study them before you go so you have a good idea of what you want to do there. There is tons to do there and you'd be wasting your time and money if you didn't have some idea of what you wanted to see, ahead of time. In Italy, I recommend going to Rome and Venice. If you go to France, I recommend visiting the castles in the Loire Valley and I also recommend going to Normandy and visiting Mont St. Michel. Do an image search on Google for Mont St. Michel and you'll see, it's a unique place. If you go to Switzerland, definitely visit the mountains, especially a town called Wengen, and don't forget the Matterhorn. Have fun!

Get a good guidebook and it will inform you about all the different things to do and see in the areas where you'll be staying. If you get more specific about which countries/cities you'll be visiting I'm sure some people on Yahoo! Answers can give you some recommendations.

What about all the fabulous art museums that exist all throughout Europe? Wouldn't it be great to see a Picasso or Monet or Klimt in person?
There are also lots of cool palaces to see. I went to three in Vienna alone.
By the way, please buy a Eurail pass for your own safety, vs. hitchhiking. They are cheap and work very well.
