Is he the right guy for me?

K here's the thing...he and I have been together for ten years but the issues never change...I do all the cooking, all the cleaning and all of the child raising...and I've actually come to accept that...and acknowledge that hey I'm better than him at that stuff anyway but here's the thing...at night when I head to bed I'm heading there alone. He's watching the tube, or playing video games, or watching football...and I'm alone more than half of the time... thoughts on that anyone?

Yep classic marriage, its an aggrement between two strangers to tolerate each other (for love) tell they die, o and not to sleep with anyone else, but since theres really no shared purpose but what society puts on it, the people envovled tend to sack off and just find a lifestyle for survival because in the end it wasn't what they though it was. Happens all the time, your not better, he is just lazy. Thats a cope out you give him and he takes, or vice versa, he takes and you let him, sad really. Also the tv watch/video game play is all extensions of the fact that your really not in his world just a part of it. Sorry but this is what happens when stangers have sex fall in love and get married. I'm more then sure 10 years ago there was a good old romantic period. But alittle sercert for you THATS WRONG!!! Romance should build up over time, when you base a relaitonship on it in the beganin the reality destories it, you need to let the reality create it which is harder, requires you to be friends, and doesn't leave you with a "am I, the only one who cares" feeling. Its not your fault actually ether, you did everything right the way society and our culture told us to, unfornutely one thing we don't realize is that there setting us up for failure. Your fix, FIX THE FRIENDSHIP, if not, your left dealing with this heck, also being someones friend means slapping them around when they sell themselves short, and giving them props when they don't, pretty much requinizing were we are not perfect and were we are, you guys just assumed the love was perfect and thats all that matters, WRONG AGAIN! Love is never enough, its how you use it, and he isn't using it for anything but to get the highscore and for you to get the kids out of his way.....
