no need to get pissy-was trying to have a little fun and give everyone someone else to talk about i am not a jr fan but i am sad as a fan of nascar about all this business about his number it's a shame things couldn't be simpler and as for the old school fans i was hoping some would remember AND that some would have to look it up! thanks for playing!

After five races, he reached a season-high 14th place in the overall standings, but by the end of the year he dropped to 24th after being disqualified at the Miller Genuine Draft 400 for illegal holes drilled on the roll cage, a safety violation

Personally I wish people would get over this #8 thing. I am fan of Jr. and hate to see it gone but it is and it's time to move on. I don't care who drove the 8 car in the past or the future.
You don't have to be a old school-er to get this answer either just do like any puter junkie would do and look it up.
