it is risky to get close to your victim, will shoot from a distance.
Pretending that guns don't kill is a silly public relations ploy to try to justify people owning guns. No intelligent man or woman would fall for such an obvious attempt to distort the facts with an emotional trick of phrasing. Do you agree, to make a question out of it? Of course most of you don't because you want to feel like a big man with your big masculine gun. Sorry to leave you ladies out of this, maybe another time.

I agree wholeheartedly, with everything you just said! I can rarely ever say that! (To be honest, I feel the same way about hunters...it doesn't take a man to unnecessarily shoot at harmless creatures from a distance. Try killing it with arrows and knives, and maybe I could call it a sport and a challenge rather than a slaughter). People kill people, true. But they do so with guns with such destructive and callous ease that we should not allow them to fall lightly into everyone's hands! We had the right to bear arms when arms consisted of a musket that required effort to function at all. Now we have a slew of guns of various destructive capabilities, bought in mass without so much as the bat of an eyelash. Something is wrong here.....

Well, I will give you that the world would probably be a better place with no guns (or any other weapons for that matter) and I will likewise give you that it is morally reprehensible that the gun industry made armaments and ordnance that becomes increasingly effective at killing people (how dead do we want someone to be from getting shot!?!?). But at the end of the day, it is a moral debate about the hearts of men; why is a person willing to pull the trigger and end a life?

This is a religion question how? I keep a gun not to go around killing but to protect myself and my family. But you are right if I decided to kill you why would I want to give you a fair chance? There is no fair in a fight. There is only a winner and a loser. This has to be one of the least intelligent questions I have read on here.

blaming guns for violence is like blaming spoons for people being too fat. Criminals will always have guns, people who want to kill others will always have guns, they will be in their sheds somewhere manufacturing them. Outlawing guns is not wise it would only disarm the people who really truly need to defend themselves. and if a crook just knows you have one you most likely will never have to use it.

I'm thankful I live in America. However, I'm especially thankful for the Second Amendment; ".......the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". GOD BLESS AMERICA
