Why is the world full of grief?
(Revelation 12:7-9) And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
(Revelation 12:12) On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
where is our future?
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].
So the earth will NOT be destroyed. Only wicked people.
(Isaiah 45:18) For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.

Yes. It's hidden in plain site. Read the Bible and you will see.
Sickness and death is a result of the fall of man into sin.
God did not intend that, but it is a current reality. Some sickness results directly from sin, such as sexually transmitted diseases which began from beastiality and are passed from one person to another by fornication.
One man and one woman, loving each other for a life time never have to worry about STDs.

The Bible's filled with things that reflect God's many purposes. It's not just all one thing. However, many of those purposes might be categorized under ideas like: God's receiving the glory due to Him from His creation, or nurturing imperfect people who want to be with Him forever in His kingdom.
As for the sickness part of your question, God created a temporary world in which we're now existing. There is pain, suffering, death, and evil all around us. However, God told us clearly in the Bible that if we respond in faith to His message of salvation, we take on a whole new life that never ends. It begins here (in kind of a tutorial) and finds its next stage in Heaven.
This world wasn't supposed to be perfect; it was supposed to be the perfect place to make a perfect choice to spend eternity in a perfect place with the perfect One.

No one knows God's true will. The bible says he did not intend for mankind to live in sickness, pain and death. It was a consequence we brought on ourselves. Our goal must be to reunite ourselves with God. I, personally, do not believe that has to be exactly how the bible says, but just to live a good life and be a good person.

Of course I know God's will. He wants the Gospel spread to all corners of the earth. He wants all mankind invited to partake of his Grace through the shed blood of Jesus. He wants his followers to love him and love their neighbor. He wants us to be ready for his return.

Ultimately you have to answer this for yourself, as with all religions. A faith based on your own interpretations. The only truth here is the truth you give it.
I think as you'll see for yourself with the rest of the answers given.

God's ultimate will is to use His saints to destroy evil in the universe. I have every intention of being one of them.
