Okay, here is my whacked idea for the evening:

Could there be a 'mobile town'? Could there be a town of a few thousand people that move up and down the coast in a freight-train caravan as a comunity? They would continually move to optimal climate every few months. The comunity would pay like $500 each to move about four times a year to optimal climate. Kind of like mobile homes, but bigger. Could the prices be compatible w/ homes? Would the savings in heating and cooling, offset most of the moving expenses?

Do-able? Absolutely.

But it would never be at $500 a head.

You may have stumbled on the next luxury for the idle riche. All ya gotta do is get the first yuppie to jump... The rest will follow like lemmings over a cliff.
