I am thinking about singing a song at this community event, but need to decide what song.?

I havent sang for a very long time.. I just need to pick a song which goes with a community event. Its kind of like Karyoke but not quite since the band is live or I can pick the music out of a selection. I thought about singing th the song "You lift me Up. What do you think about it? My 2 kids will be home together for the 1st time in 4 months. I was and still am a single mother.
