God wants you to know that the Old Testament was written by many many people and they were using the same divine inspiration as I am right now. God wants you to know that he doesn't want to be worshipped. God wants you to stop killing each other in the name of God. God wants you to know that The New Testament was written by people that had not wittnessed the miricles of Jesus and did not know if he was a real person or not. God wants you to explore the scientific world without using words supposedly written about God as a hinderance of the scientific process. God wants you to be kind to everyone. God wants you to stop destroying the planet we live on along with over a trillion other species of plant, animal, insect, and bacteria. God wants you to help those in need. 1. Many more people will die in the middle east until 1/20/09 (Bush's Last Day)
2.Democrats will win the elections and the winning party will consist of a minority that The United States has never seen in it's history as a president or Vice President.
3. After the election stem cell research will be funded again and cures and preventative medicine will be formed through human DNA as medical science grows.
4. Unfortunate forces of nature will cause many deaths due to Global Warming.
5. Scientists will be given record amounts of funding for Global Warming reversal and prevention research.
6. Every American will have Insurance.
7. Religious tollerance will be shown on new levels and would be militants will rejoice in reform.

I take it that you are serious about what you have written and that you have invited dialogue. You have asked, 'What do you think?" Well, as a student of the Word of God, and an ordained Minister, I have to tell you that your very first statement is untrue. You say the New Testament was written by people that were not eye witnesses to his miracles - this too is untrue. I don't know where you got your information but it is faulty. Even his brother James, who became head of the Jerusalem church, knew Jesus was real. Where in the Bible can you support your statement about hindering scientific process? The rest of your statement is just common sense. You say, "Tell me what else God wants.....", well I would say probably for you to stop claiming that you know more than 90% of other people, in regard to the Scriptures, because you have shown that that is not true. I would suggest, if you are serious about knowing God and knowing His desires, that you get with a pastor and study the New Testament dilegently. God's followers are commanded to 'rightly divide the Word of God'. That does not mean just come up with an opinion, but to study it's content, it's words, who is speaking, who is the speaker talking to, etc.. A good pastor/teacher could help you with this. I wish you well as you strive to learn more about our God and His desires for His people.

God doesn't want to be worshiped? Hmmmm... Sounds like you need to read the Bible. The Old Testament, since you don't think the New is any good. But if the people who wrote the New Testament didn't even know if Jesus was a real person then why did they write a whole big book about Him? I wouldn't have bothered.
And our conscience is put there by God. He wants us to be moral for love of Him. He gave us a conscience so that we would know when we are doing sin.
You are seriously confused.

What do I think? I think you are full of it. I think you think you are funny. I also think one day you will stand before God and remember writing this. I hope by that time you have come to know Him and have repented of your sins.

So you claim both they and you were inspired. Then you say "God wants you to explore the scientific world without using words supposedly written about God as a hindrance of the scientific process." You just admitted that the Old Testament was God inspired and in the next breath tell us to ignore it. Maybe you could make up your mind on this one? And as God's inspired Word is perfect and the above proves you made an error it also proves your writing is not inspired. Come back and try again tomorrow.

In this world different people interpret things differently, interpretation changes with time, as knowledge and experience increases, so instead of any argument, I accept and respect your interpretation of God, and you may please live with that happily. My interpretation is-
God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

Amen! This god seems worth giving the time of day to listen to, unlike the one most people seem to believe in. Could he perhaps want us to use the brain he has given us to think things through, to require evidence for extraordinary claims, to develop our critical thinking skills? Could he go so far as to say that what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is nobody's business but their own? Or is this god really too good to be true?

everythings gotta come to an end love it or hate it. What you say today or to god doesnt change tommorow.Alot of things made up today such as god is a german word. He may be superior to a human looking rat like me it is hard to get lucky. The son of man was a term made up by the catholic church. Did many of these prehistoric people live before or was it made up to control man and his desires. I only know people and people seem to know god and god knows people and people seem to think to know satan. Is his literature throughout the bible. Please tell me about how are we going to destory all evil doings in thew world so god can have a chance to express himself to his people. It is evil today, It is evil. I am confused. In your other answers you say you are athiest but now you say God speaks to you. You are full of contradictions. Which is it do you believe or not. Do you believe and just don't follow. If this is the case than you are not an athiest as you have said in other answers. Please do not claim to speak for God and at the same time in other answers claim that He doesn't exist.
