I've always believed that God was powerful enough to have created the world either way...divine creation in seven days, ala Genesis...or via setting things in motion for evolution.
(Ever notice how some people insist that the Bible means exactly what it says...and should be taken as literally as possible...and they're always pushing public prayer whenever they can....even though Jesus instructs us to "go into the closet and pray in secret"? Wonder why the hypocrisy?)

Evolution is not a matter of faith, it is established fact. You can choose not to believ the evidence, but your belief will not change the truth. There is a clear fossil record from the inital primative organisms to the ones that exist today. To say that the process started at a more advanced state is to ignore known facts.
Evolution does not necessarily elimintate a Deity, it simply has no need to for a deity to have happened.
Similarly, the Big Bang and associated cosmological theories are complete on their own, they explain the origin of this and other "universes" wihout needing a deity.
Once again, you can believe what you want, but it does not alter the facts. There is no indication that there was intervention in evolution or the formation of a universe nor is there evidence that it happened.

I think its very possible that the concept of God and evolution can be co-exist. A lot of creationist deny this possibility, as it was stated in the Bible that God created Adam and Eve.
However, the book was written in much unenlightened times. People then, do not have that sophistication and experiences now. Neither do they have the ability to look at things more objectively and do not possess the tools to do so.
Hence, imagine God telling Abraham or Jacob that they shared common ancestors with that monkey over there, I'm sure they would just quit the faith in disgust.
So, the leviathan and behemoth, could very be the remnant of the dinosaurs rewritten, as man, in their arrogance, could not imagine Earth at any one time, was ruled by such beast and our ancestors were like sandflys to these gigantic monsters

im thinking that Mork from Ork said we are evolved from chickens. LOL.
but seriously, I believe that any lifeform on this planet is a likeness of things that exist in all of the unknown universe.
I think and believe that in order for Jesus to be the creator of all life on this planet and all things in it. except of course the plants he did not plant which will be destroyed when comes again, that before the SON of God could creat a breathing lung lung he had to understand how to creat a cell and a stem cell that could be changed into either a lung or a cell. Im thinking that before he could create a human being he had to first creat a chimp and and an ape, and yes even a bigfoot creature and then make modifications. but then again Jesus had to learn how to program dna and how to encode genetics to follow one life (kind) after another without being manipulated. oops, the nephelim prove that even genetic codes can be manipulated.
God and His son and the Holy ghost and the Angels of heaven all helped to create what is life on this planet. and none of it evolved from each other. however God has changed the code for humans and laws that govern how things grow and multiply. He couldve invented a planet where there was no animal life at all and unbelievers and athiests and science would still prove, somehow, that we evolved.

No, you are not the only person. However, it is reasonable to say that God created earth, animals, people, the universe, but did so completely. He created man, as we know man to be. He created animals, as we know animals to be.
There are so many gaps and flaws in the theory of evolution that it will likely remain a theory. Archaeological and paleontological findings show that there are no in betweens- there was nothing, then something - no links to common ancestry. The more that is found, which evolutionists would not admit, the more that Intelligent Design is discussed as a possibility.

The Znarfs asked God how they might therapy this affol plague that had bestod their deformed zblarfs and god stated provide up mating with you're family so the znarfs, Gnarfs and Zblarfs all whent their seprit procedures. the three species traveled some distance and long untill sometime they chanced on different znarfs ands Gnarfs and Zblarfs then they had a great orgy and made a good number of Znarfs, Gnarfs and Zblarfs and created different species like the Zgblarfs and human beings, AHMEN no wounder why god flooded the international

Hey, you want to be a crevolutionist. I'm with you. Sure some people are more evolved than others God made a system that changes constantly. It's more fun that way. This is all just one big experiment and when God's done with the little ball of clay God created then we will all be squished into one gooey mess and then God will start all over again. Well get ready for the big squish because it's coming.

people can of course belive in whatever they want to; I mean hell the lady next door could belive in little green men for all I know. But I think to belive in two opposites is very hipocritical. I mean yes I suppose some could say that becuase you still believe in God after understanding evolution it makes you a greater believer and all that jazz, but if you recognize evolution than in a way you also have to realize that maybe humans arnt all that special like religions make us out to be and that becuase we arnt special and the world wasnt made for us than maybe (sticking to the idea that god created us) we were some accident that has at the very least been amusing for Him to watch. I mean if he started the world with a bunch of animals which through natural selection became sentient creatures all on its own( or maybe with a few tweaks from him here and there) why should he go through the trouble of making heaven, hell purgatory ect... all for us? Why would he care really? Its rather like a kid watching an ant farm.
not that thats what i think (im strictly atheist)

No, you're not the only one.
The theory of intelligent design allows for creation and evolution as one of God's tools. I firmly believe this is not only possible, but probable.
The problem with people who believe creation and evolution can't go hand in hand is that 'creationists' who are bible literalists don't understand that evolution theory does not and cannot describe how life began, only what happened to it after it began, and most don't understand that scientific theory is not the same as the word theory in layman's terms, it's based on a conclusion drawn from evidence and facts, not just a wild guess or opinion.

There is a kind of evolution all life forms go through. But, remember, humans evolve as humans and animal species also stay in the same group. But God was instrumental in the beginning of each an every life form. Think and live spiritually.......
