Any suggestions? I'm leaving my nine footer surfboard here since I have mates who'll provide when I'm down there and I had a bag for her but I don't know how to lug around the skateboard. I found a ton of regular skateboard bags but no luck with the longer variety. Plus - it won't fit into my suitcase. Any help is much appreciated.

Take the Trucks. get a board when you are there. As a second choice call the airline and ask what type of container that they approve of and if they will provide a container. Its been known to happen. Other wise use two regular board bags and tape in the middle.

Just had a thought. Hit Goodwill, Lots of bags for Snowskis available and they ought to fit your long board. They come with straps and are adjustable for up to 3 pairs of skis. any thrift store usually has a couple of bags around. You should be able to make them work.
