He leaves the compnay his father helped create to move onto the team with best equipment. He loses the Bud sponsers and the 8. Will he lose fans becuase of all this?

Junior will lose some fans,but then those were Budwieser fans not Junior fans.This is common when drivers change.Fans like the product and are fans of the driver but when the driver changes teams the fan stays with the sponsor.
But in Juniors deffense he will build a new fan base withe his new sponsors.

Most Dale Jr Fans are what are called pink hats in red sox nation. AKA Newbies. They are drawn to the action but do not quite get"it" They are drawn to the name. Many of them, I saw it first hand at Loudon Sunday and especially Saturday when it was raining, are more into seeing the hype as opposed to a great race. They left when practice was canceled and did not watch a Great Truck Race where Sam Hornish Jr dominated and an Even Better Modified race that had a four car 15 lap battle to the checkers. Your a newb if you think Darrel Waltrip is a buddy to any Earnhardt. I believe he will still have that following of people. Oh and the funniest thing I saw was a guy wearing a Terry Labonte hat and a 3 jacket. I guess this guy never saw those two in Bristol.

He may lose some fans, but those are only the fairweather fans. His true fans, myself included, will follow him. Besides, the way Teresa has been running DEI, I'm surprised Dale Sr hasn't spun his way to China by now.
Hopefully in a few years, Junior will come back, buy DEI, bring it back to its former glory, and kick Teresa to the curb where she belongs. DEI was created for the Earnhardt kids, not the moneygrubbing wife.

a "true" fan does not care what kind of car a driver drives,,,who his sponser is,,number of the car!!! a true fan will follow his favorite driver anywhere!!,,,,,,,,,,,this is the best thing Dale Jr has done! and good luck to him,

If he does then they weren't real fans anyway.A lot of people jump on and off the band wagon all the time . They will not be missed.
I for one am a true fan and will follow him wherever he decides to go.

Most of jr's fans will go with him. He'll get some new ones from the Hendricks stable. Some diehard earnhart fan's will never root for a Hendricks car.

A loyal Jr. fan will be loyal to Jr. no matter who he drives for. Why should he remain with a team that didn't suit his needs? Jr. did what he needed to do for his career. More power to him. I am a fan for life, whoever he drives for.

I don't think so but some people are not true Dale Jr fans!!!! I will be behind him no matter what!!!! It was time for him to move to a team where he would get the respect he deserves.

He wont lose this fan. You have your facts wrong also.
He didnt just "leave" DEI nor Bud. You dont just leave a contract.
He had every reason in the world to not renew his contract with TEI.
