could be anything, doesn't sound good. Wash all the bedding, get some flea treatment and get your animals dewormed by the vet --don't use over the counter dewormer because it doesn't get all kinds of worms.

They look like worms there are many types and can be very harmful and fatal to animals. is your cat wormed or up to date with the worming treatment? Check stools of the cat worms will be found there. Any uncertainty go see a vet. Its better to be safe then sorry.
Good luck

Flea larvea. Wash the jacket and dry it in a dryer to kill them.
Get some flea spray from the vet and spray the area around where the cats sleep. They probably have fleas and worms so a visit to the vet is a good idea.

Intestinal parasites that cats get are white. If they are the size of a grain of sand, they could be "flea dirt." Look for little ones shaped like a "C" and that is probably what it is. Are these things moving? Flea dirt would not be moving, it's not alive, it's flea poop actually. If you think it could be that, put some on a wet, white paper towel and smoosh it, it will make a pink smear. If it does, the kitties have fleas.

They probibly hape some form of tape malicious software, ringworm, or roundworm. call up you vet and describe the worms to them. in the event that they comprehend what it is they'll probibly perscribe you de-wormer over the telephone. call the vet in case you spot this take place back.

Put them into a baggie with a little water so they don't dehydrate, stick it in the refrigerator and take it to any vet office tomorrow, they'll do a free visual on it and tell you if it's a pet parasite.
