LIFE IS A MYTHIC JOURNEY

I AM A MYTHIC HERO, THE PROTAGONIST OF MY OWN UNIQUE SAGA

I AM THE GODS WHO CALL ME, THE GODS I SEEK, THE GODS I SERVE, THE GODS WHOSE MYTHS I LIVE

MY CHALLENGES ARE HERE, BEFORE ME, IN THE ETERNAL NOW

MY ADVENTURE NEVER ENDS

I ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL MY CHOICES AND ACTIONS

I AM A MULTI-DIMENSIONAL BEING AND CAN NEVER, IN TRUTH, BE FETTERED WITHOUT MY CONSENT

THE REALMS OF MYTH, MAGIC AND LEGEND ARE HERE, AROUND ME AND WITHIN ME. TO EXPERIENCE THEM I NEED ONLY SHIFT MY PERSPECTIVE, SLIGHTLY

The key things I find here is an acceptance of responsibilty for one's own actions while recognizing our connection to the Mythic, Heroic realms where humanity interacts with the Divine.

What do you think? Does this Credo have value for everyone, whether Pagan or not?

I believe every one can take something from this to use in their every day lives. As a pagan I try to live up to this credo every day. Yes this is in every ones reach.

I do believe that every Credo has value as a place to explore our own feelings and beliefs, but the only creed that fits me must be unique as I am unique. Like others I have been fettered by the actions of others in ways I have never consented to, but it is always good to reflect so thank you for this challenge.

Yeah, there is personal responsibility, but there is also a lot of hubris. And there is no accounting for things that happen that are completely out of your control. In fact, the truth is, most of what goes on in the world that effects us is completely out of control. Just ask Preston Tucker, the guy who was run out of the automobile business by the big three decades ago.

Acceptance of our own actions is what will always seperate true believers from fanatics.

All of this has meaning for me and validates what I believe about my journey, life, death and the reasons for all my experiences in each incarnation. Thank you for sharing it.
