Good question! Mexicans are a proud people in their own right, no more Spaniards than the United States are British. Mexico has an archaeological heritage equal to Egypt. Mexican literary genius Calros Fuente wrote a short story in which, as part of a deal to make Mexico one of the U.S.states, Mexico would be given back all the land, from Texas to California taken from Mexico. Mexico said "we'll take it all back except Texas." My point is, why worry about respecting that treaty. Has it ever been respected?

Perhaps the Mexicans should take a good long look at what the whites did to the Indians before they start dishonoring the treaty they, as a nation, signed with the U.S. The American Indians were not a recognized nation; they signed separate treaties with the U.S. & yes, they were all dishonored by the U.S. No matter, we wanted their land & they had to go. We wanted the land from the Mexicans, they had to go. Yes, the treaty was signed because they lost the war with us but, they also knew they couldn't win against us. We were determined to have that land. They may as well get over it. We are not going to give it back & we won't let them come in to stay unless they come by legal means. Here is a thought; what if we make them the 52nd state? Think they would like that? Imagine that!

You're mistaking Treaties with War. Some Treaties came about with native Americans due to Indian/Euro settler wars, but others were due to business dealings. The Mexican - American war was an actual all-out WAR, and in war, the victor makes the loser sign a treaty to non-aggression. You can break it, of course ( Hitler did, but it was due to back-breaking European ongoing economic sanctions that sapped Germany and it's citizens, not just the government...so resentment built, and war broke out again ,somewhat justified ).
And please specify ALL of the treaties that were broken. I believe we still have Treaties with Native Americans, and haven't taken any indian reservation territory in hundreds of years...so there are many still in effect. So "every" is incorrect. Quit being biased, you Mexican sympathizer. I have problems with economic refugees like Mexicans ( and like the New Orleans citizens ), who leave, move into new areas, and start crime waves ( like New Orleans refugees did), live like cattle and pigs, send money out of the country permanently, use our resources and don't pay a fair share of taxes. While I feel sorry that their home country refuses to help them, that doesn't give them any "right" to move over here and take advantage of our better system. Move back home and improve their OWN system ( ie, revolution, overthrow the tyrannical elitist Mexican government, etc. ). But, Mexicans don't have that ability. Or at least haven't shown any. They'd rather run and hide, or escape, than fix their own problems. Why should we aid and abet them in our own downfall?
Oh, and if you DO come here to "take it all back", would you mind taking the liberal Democrats property FIRST? I'll be happy to give you directions, since they welcomed you with open arms anyway, I'm sure they'll give it all up graciously...

Just for the record: why so many people thinks that only aztecs used to live in the mexican territory?, yeah and Mayas, hey people aztecs never lived in the California area, anyways there was over 50 tribes at least in the Mexican territory, yet it was mexican soil, have yo ever heard about the Tlaxcaltecas, Mayos, Caitas, Tarahumaras, etc?? you can't use the ancient indians lands as a refference anymore, and haves nothing to do with this question by the way.

It's curious how the Indians are being brought up so often lately. Must be that nobody recalls the history prior to the pilgrims. Native American Indians weren't treated well at all by Spaniards....as a matter of fact, I'm surprised that it would be referenced as a "kindred spirit" type of defense at all considering the slaughter that took place.

US Indians and Mexican Indians are two different things. Mexican Indians only entered into US Indian territory under the Spaniards, so technically, the SW US still belongs to us "gringoes".
Also, what are you asking? You're saying Americans should just sit back and give up everything they've worked for?
Ever hear of "to the victor belong the spoils"?

If you check history you will find that the Indians were also breaking treaties. Mexico was a Country not a tribe. They were defeated and signed this treaty as a nation. If mexico breaks a treaty who will trust it?

I'm reminded of the old saying "two wrongs don't make a right"
Unfairness, sadly, doesn't enter into the equation.
There would be anarchy if we all started disobeying laws and treaties just because someone else did.

Indians did not have their own country like Texans. Uninforced Immigration laws are giving Mexicans an ad-hock license to over-run MY country.
Maybe you don't think much of America, like most Congress persons, but I think the borders, language AND culture of the freest Democracy to exist in the history of the world are well worth preserving.

Most U.S. Native Americans don't like Mexicans (especially those from the Aztec tribe). They never got along. The U.S.-Mexican border is around 1000 years old.
Also, U.S. Native Americans would rather be called Americans, not Mexicans.
Fact.
