It's hard to say. Maybe the passed on enemies we make in this life will be waiting for us in the next one. Whether they can really do anything but annoy us is another story. Praying and asking for forgiveness may not make much difference either.

In one way or another yes. It may not be in the physical sense that most of us come to associate "smiting" within, but I do beleive they will get their comeuppance(sp?).

if the almighty god is perfect, why must he feel anger and kill us off by smiting us off this world. if god is perfect he would not feel such anger but love and understanding. scriptures are "exaggerating" sorta. example: IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN GOD YOU'LL BE WIPED OFF THE EARTH! like i said if God is perfect why must he feel anger and hate instead of love and understanding. and i'm pretty sure he doesnt feel anger or hate.
