Myth.
Chapter 1 is Book J, chapter 2 and 3 are Book E. Both are written as myth, but with different purposes.

Genesis 1-10 is an epic poem of collected, accepted myths. Don't read it for book knowledge, read the beautiful stories of G-D's redemption.

History, resembling only a few days of creation. It's not millions of years, cause the Bible uses sun setting as opposed to "God" days = million years apparently. It's either this account, or evolution, in which i have very serious doubts occurred.

It reads like a myth. If it were history it should have a bit more detail, not to mention leaving a bit more evidence or would have matched the current mass of evidence.

oregon flower how is that christian bashing?
it is myth, as the catholic church only stands by what the story represents not an actual week creation story.
I think it's really cool actually and makes God so much more believable because it doesn't take away from his creating just shows physically HOW he did it.

History simplified. They did not go into great detail of the "how" it was done. Just the facts we would need, but that is no reason to not tell it in an interesting way.
