For eons & eons you will not exist. How badly does this bother you?

Bother me?

It's the only reason life is worth living.

I didn't exist in 1963. That doesn't bother me; why should not existing in some nameless future bother me? I have no evidence to suggest that I will not exist in some form, perhaps not with the consciousness I have now, after my physical death. But I look forward to the transformation. I'm not particularly fierce about keeping my own particular brand of consciousness to myself, the same forever. I'd rather see what's ahead, even if I have to change radically to do it. Also, what choice do I have? It was incredibly easy to let go when I thought I was going to die in the last car crash I had. Just a grey screen and no time at all. It was waking up here that was hard.

It doesn't bother me at all - it's reality.
We are born, some of us live life to the max and some live life shaking in FEAR of what will happen AFTER WE DIE, and then we die. The End.

Why would I want to live for eons and eons or forever or any of that silly stuff?
When you're dead, you're dead - the lights go out and it's The End.
Why is there all this fear surrounding death?
Is it cos those god botherers got in your ear and told you there's an invisible man in the sky who is saying that if you don't suck up to him he'll send you to hell?
Those are the monster-under-the-bed stories you tell children to keep them in bed.
Isn't it time y’all grew up and faced reality?
Seriously.

Not in the least. I believe in God, and with good reason, so i don't believe I'll just cease to exist. But that wouldn't surprise me if it worried unbelievers, i mean, what's the point in living, if it's just going to end with no consequence, why not just die now and get it over with . . .

It troubles me sometimes to think that all of this will be over for me (sooner than I think), but that's not really a good reason for believing or not believing in one account of what happens after we die.

It bothers me more when arrogant and pretentious people claim to know the difference. No offense of course.

Well, I haven't realized that yet, but if it's true or if its false I'm still gonna live my life the best I can.
