God rested because He was setting an example for us. We are to rest as He did, on the Sabbath Day. God is our rest, our solitude.
I do not believe we evolved. If we did, why would we stop at being what we are? Wouldn't we continue to evolve forever and ever?

He did not use or need to use the Theory of Evolution as put forth by Darwin - because He was able to Create all creatures according to their Own Kind. A human is a human, has always been human and will always have human offspring.

If you believe in this theory, can you tell me where the ape / chimp / whatever DNA went and why it is no longer a part of our genetic make-up? Because as far as I know, it can't just disappear and since we have demonstrated evidence that people are able to pass traits from their ancestors to their children - it should blow that little messed up theory out of the water. Unless, there has been a report of a human giving birth to an ape or chimp - that I never heard about.

Can you also tell me what happens when there is a malfunction or abnormality in a person's DNA?
