I once heard someone [i do not know who] say that "men marry who they can and not who they want to". In other words, men deep down inside would love to be able to afford a trophy wife that could COOK and was LOVING. I always hear guys brag when they got a really cute girl as their girlfriend or as their wife. However if the girl does not give them the time of day then its off with the homely girlfriend. Be honest guys!

The cute girl is not perfect but she is really cute and can cook and is sweet and yes if he could afford her he would
choose her. I know this is hard for some people to grasp but there are attractive women that can be nice [ it is rare but it is there]

That is a personal decision that depends upon what YOU want.
You can get a really hot honey to show off to your friends at cocktail parties with a brain of a gnat.
You can get a really hot honey to show off and like to hang around with who is way to smart, conniving, and you cant trust her to be faithful.
You can get a nice looking girl who enjoys the things you doand you can trust.
You can get a semi-homely girlfriend who is great in bed, cooks for you and you hide her from your friends.
ALL THE ABOVE ARE FUN TO DATE
What you marry is the perfect combination of all the above.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Looks don't last, good cooking does. Trophy wife is another way of saying 'gold digger' - if you've got money, hire a cook and housekeeper, then marry for love. Ninety percent of men are really attracted to ten percent of the women. If you really love each other, physical appearance is less important. The physical appearance might be what gets attention first, but that doesn't last.

A man may think he wants a beautiful woman, but when he gets her, if she isn't warm, loving, and a full partner in their relationship, he finds out how shallow life is with only looks and no heart.
My first husband was married to a petite blond who was everything he thought he wanted. It lasted 18 months and she left him for someone else. I was neither petite nor blond, but we could really talk and communicate. We had the same values; wanted the same things from life. He was my best friend. We raised two children and were married until he died.
I'm lucky that ten years later I met another man with whom I can really talk and communicate; we have the same values and want the same things from life.
Ultimately it's the relationship, not the looks that count. It just takes a while for some guys to figure this out.

Guy's sometimes pick the homley girl, because of the way she treats him...."Good As Gold".
Most good looking girls, think! it's all about them, and don't care about there man, nor do they treat a guy real good, no matter how well he treats her.
That is the honest truth. Look around at the women who are in there 30-40's who are divorced more than 2 times, they all have the same thing in common...."It's all about them". They don't care about men, only about what they want or can steal in a divorce case. Some have made millions just by divorcing a man with money.
Everything in this world has a price, if you don't think so, just ask your girlfriends if they would sleep with a movie star or someone just for there hot looks, all will say....When.

Most guys are reluctant to get married nowadays.
They get married because they believe they have someone suitable and they want to get married because they are at a point in their life when that's what they want to do.
The girl you marry is someone you feel comfortable with entering into that kind of arrangement.
I got married when I was 25-26. I am 48 now, and have a different view of it. I believe a couple should be together for some time before tieing the knot, in middle age, to be certain they are compatible and all.
Not that it means anything to me anyway because I haven't been able to afford dating in some time. Dating is expensive!

I think that's bull. The large majority of men marry because they FELL IN LOVE with someone. That above all else takes precedence. I think that a man with a healthy self-esteem looks for a "total package" woman i.e. someone who not only is easy on the eyes and great in bed, but can be a FRIEND above all else.

Guys (and girls, I'm pretty sure) All want to have a hot significant other...it's cool when all your friends or people you meet are like, nice, good job, how did you get her? rather then oh she was nice. So yeah, guys are gonna go for hot girls...some guys can get them, some guys can't. Also, some guys who are insecure go for less attractive girls anyway, because they can't handle all the attention that beautiful girls get... you have to be able to put your jealousy in check.

I know from experience if you keep holding out for that trophy wife she will never come and you might be missing out on someone who probably be better off for you in the long run there's not to many Jessica Alba's out there.
