I have a job interview at Dillards tomorrow at their shoe department. I've worked in the Belk (small clothes store in the south) for about 8 months, and have decided to go more upscale. The dress code at Belk was kinda laided back and casual. I know Dillards is more upscale. Anyway, ideas on what to wear and how to wear my make-up is much appreciated.

I suggest that you dress in a business manor. Not saying a dress suit but perhaps a nice pair of dress slacks and a blouse or a nice dress. I feel that your makeup should be light nothing heavy or drastic. You would want the employer to see you for who you are , If you are hired then i am sure that you will be given a copy of the company dress code and you can see how the other employees wear their make up. I believe that people should wear makeup to their satisfaction,\.

Good Luck hope you get the job

Grey or black dress pants, a fitted top (not revealing), and of course your most fabulous (but practical) shoes. Make-up I would not over do. Foundation, neutral eyeshadow, mascara and some lip gloss. Good luck!
