are usually the most vocal? And then others are naive enough to believe that those people represent the group as whole? Couldn't this be said about any group on Y/A? Christians, Muslims, Atheists, white people, black people......

For the most part...I totally agree...Because our society is so full of freakin followers..as a whole no one want's to take responsibility for having an objective opinion and that seriously bothers me...I strongly believe in individuality...Its what makes us all who we truly are..How lost are we If all we can do is agree with the person who is supposidly in charge we are all humans here...and still very capable of learning living and loving one another on our own terms...but if we all become just a freakin yes men then we don't even know what terms apply the person whom sometimes speaks the loudest knows the least...And just needs another insecure person to solidify their ignorance

Actually I don't agree. Seems to me the most vocal RS group members are those who have the most boring, unimaginitive viewpoints we've all heard thousands of times.

Religious fanatics who want to spout the Bible and tell non-believers they will roast. Atheists who think they've found a flaw in the Ark story, or that they've found some new and interesting way to say people who don't believe in evolution are stupid or illogical.

There are smart people on RS who have interesting viewpoints, but we rarely hear from them.

Yes, this theory is all over the Cultures and Groups section.

The reason for this is what some people THINK we want on T.V. They think that we LOVE to be shocked, that Paris Hilton in jail is absolutely riveting. But it's not. I hate Paris. If the T.V. people stopped putting on all of these weirdos like Paris and these Ku Klux Klan hate mongers, these groups wouldn't be so misrepresented.

Sure. People with "strong" beliefs want others to share them because for them they are right, It's like if you found a great store, with great prices, service, etc., you would totally tell your friends, maybe even insist on taking them there yourself, you want them to benefit the way you have....

Yes that is humanity...we associate and thrive in a like minded group.

yes that's true, although there is the occasional bright mind that follows what they conclude instead of following the crows, but we are the few among the plenty (the plenty consisting of idiots and morons)

When it comes to our God, I will definitely speak out. I'm tired, so tired of just letting these people condemn our Lord and make fun of Him and His words, and the people that take a stand for Him. We will see who has the last laugh, won't we?

I'm not normal. I don't like any group that tries to enforce its morals through legisation.

"I'm fed up and I won't take it anymore!"

Ain't it the truth.
Normal people are quiet and polite. Which means they are usually ignored.
