I see christians condemning people to hell as an act of blackmail. If you don't accept the chrisian way of doing things...you go to hell. But if you accept all things christian, without question....you go to heaven and its all roses in the garden. Well, no prozes for guessing where they can shove that bit of blackmail.

some do some don't and some have but each major religion seems to have a similar concept running through it so now you know why having been raised in a christian household I do not approve of organised religion. I believe there is a force for good and a force for evil inside everyone if their is any hope for us all we have to aim to use and develop that goodness and that means we unite on an emotional level something no organised religion can ever accept. I don't blame the people for this just the leaders of these faiths who will not accept we all have a natural right to inhabit this world and do so in peace and joy - so put that in your pipe (er no that's another religion isn't it?). As for the existence of gods or deities - all to soon I will reach the end of this life and perhaps then I will find out - patience being a virtue they say.

Christians don't want to either -- and shouldn't! Only God can judge who will go to Heaven or hell. But Christians DO want everyone to go to Heaven. That's why we are always talking about finding Jesus and believing in Him, studying the Bible, having faith in God. Through Jesus is the only way to Heaven (John 3:16). We are instructed by God to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15-16). Yet when we talk about that, we get mocked or disrespected or hated or whatever. So that's when we ahve to let everyone choose for themselves.

Christians don't condemn anyone anywhere. The most Christians ever do is point out scripture in the Bible. Most of the atheists on here think it's okay to Christian-bash, but they run crying to mommy when a Christian pulls out the Bible. They can dish it out, but they can't take it.

Because atheists do not need to use fear tactics to scare people into believing the load of random useless stuff that dribbles out of their mouths!
They use only tried and tested scientific evidence to disprove the existance of god, and move forward to better the world and aid its progress.
only religion slows us down, the sooner we drop it, the better!

As a Christian, I do not condemn anyone. Jesus told us to judge not. The ONLY one even qualified to judge is the Lord. The judgment is left up to God to decide. According to the Bible, no one will be exempt from judgment Christian or non Christian. ALL will stand before the throne. The Lord will judge all! God is just and must judge sin, like a judge must administer justice for crimes committed. However, man's sins have been paid for. The debt is paid in full for those that repent and accept the atonement sacrifice of the Lamb of God.It is free for the asking. It is up to us whether we will accept the provision made for our sins or not. We either accept or decline our own salvation. Christians are just here to deliver the message for the Lord. They have nothing to do with who gets salvation or not. There is only one thing that can wash away sin, the blood of the perfect Lamb Of God who takes away sin! God wants no person to be lost. This is why Jesus told his disciples to preach the gospel. It is the message of hope for mankind!

Many of us are universalists.
Still, every Christian has just as many folks condemning them to hell as every atheist.

Bacause they want to frighten people into believing the same as them. I dont believe in god and I am a morally good person. If at the end of my life I am cast into eternal flames for not believing in god (although which one I am meant to believe in is another question) - then quite frankly I dont want anything to do with such a vengeful entity.

Hi....
Christians 'believe' they know the 'truth'.....
But they actually 'know' nothing, they are very deluded in 'what' they believe!
Same goes for Islam too!!
Just be happy, that you have a free and open mind, that you are not brainwashed, like them!!
