No, but the only two biblical games I can thing of are casting lots, and bait the prophet. I think that gambling is not a good thing just beause it's addictive, and bait the prophet eand with bears mauling you...

Over than that D&D is a great game and very good for developing teamwork, problem sovling, planing and strategy, and working towards a long term goal. As for the potential problems of people going overboard, well, look a the soccer matches in England or Footall widows.

Apparently it's not biblical, according to http://www.covenanter.org/Practical/TheLot/gaming.htm

Not sure when it was written, but thought you might get a kick out of the following excerpt on "Gaming and Gambling":

There is a most unhealthy excitement connected with gaming. The player becomes wholly absorbed. The pulse rushes with accelerated speed. The face flushes. The eye stares wildly. The feelings are wrought to the highest pitch, and a state of mind is produced, which often breaks out in unkind words. The love of play grows on that upon which it feeds. The mind becomes as eager for the game, as the drunkard is for his cup. It becomes a passion, and little else is thought of, or desired. And now what is to be said of a game of cards in the family, or at a social gathering? It is often replied, "what harm is in it?" "It helps to pass away an evening."

..........

And now you know where D & D players are going when they die. Watch for that eye staring wildly!

Its bibilical in the sence that Christians are just as annoying as D&D geeks (also trekkies)...

But usually D&D geeks are nicer than Christians...(Although, I suppose, at least to some extent, most D&D geeks are christians too).

No offence to D&D geeks....
Christians can feel free to be offended.
++++

By The Way... I take a great deal of offense that D&D was called "nerdy" by some of the posters. D&D is played by geeks not nerds.

Nerds have better things to do, like cure cancer and write this post on Y!A.
Once again, no offense to Geeks...

No. It is a program for occultism and witchcraft. scripturally Dungeons and Dragons violates the commandment of I Thes. 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil." You also might want to look at EX. 22:18, Lev. 19:31, Lev. 20:6, Deut. 18:10, 1Sam. 15:23, 2Kgs. 21:6, Is. 8:19, Gal. 5:20, Rev. 21:8, Rev. 22:15.

Here is a testimony of someone hooked on it: http://www.christianitytoday.com/tcw/2001/novdec/1.37.html

I am certain I've never read anything about D&D in the Bible. Therefore it's not Biblical.

Only if you name every character in the game Jesus, call spells "miracles", have the only worshippable deity be God, and mercilessly slay non-believers.

Joking aside, that would actually be a pretty hardcore campaign!
