"In Hell burning, since they didn't have a relationship with Jesus" -Quote from a Christian
"Well, since they didn't know Jesus, or were saved, I would guess Hell." -Another quote from a Christian
Two Chrisitans who think all the people who lived before Jesus was around went to Hell, no questions asked, I guess that also includes Noah, Moses, and all them too, since they didn't know Jesus....Not saying ALL Christians think that, but SOME do....Hope I helped some...

All those who died before Jesus was sent to earth, are still "sleeping" in death and are awaiting a resurrection, which Jesus has been given the authority to do. This will occur after God's final war of Armageddon and during the 1000 year reign when Jesus rules as King over the earth.
Among those brought back to life here on earth, will be Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the faithful ones who lived before Jesus was born. What a joy it will be to talk to them and learn from their experiences. How amazed they will be at what modern technology has accomplished.
What a loving God we have. Not only will righteous people be resurrected, but those who never knew God will be also be given life again and the chance to prove themselves faithful during that thousand years of just and righteous rulership.

The people in the Old Testament of the Bible that kept the laws, and obeyed God are in Heaven. In the Old Testament, lambs were slaughtered as an atonement for sins. This had to be done by a Jewish high priest. That was the only way that people back then could get to Heaven, but after Jesus was crucified there was no need for that because He died for our sins. Of course, He is no longer dead but risen, and He sits at the right hand of God the Father. God is a loving God and has always made a way for people to spend eternity with Him. He doesn't delight in sending people to Hell at all. That is why in Old Testament times they were granted forgiveness by slaughtering a lamb, which was to signify the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. The only people who ever go to Hell are the ones that reject Him. The Bible says He always reveals Himself to people. Even ones on the other side of the world that might never have a chance to hear the Gospel by revealing Himself through creation. Hope that answers your question.

There are many Christian views on the subject of reincarnation, although most Christians who believe in it are reluctant to admit that they do. There are exceptions. Edgar Cayce was a very devout Christian who also taught reincarnation. A good book on the subject is "Many Mansions", a biography of Cayce.
On the subject of the conventional Christian attitude about the fate of persons who existed before Jesus, the general consensus is that [God is so unfair that] he let all the non-believers B.C. into heaven without them having the option to believe or not believe Jesus, while everybody else has to accept Jesus or burn. Of course, they sugarcoat it to make it sound divine, but that's the gist of it.

If you did read particularly the Book of Leviticus in OT, in the ancient days, they were practicing atonement of sins by the blood of unblemish animals or birds it depends on what thier sins is all about.
Now, if we keep practicing such practice do we have enough unblemish animals and birds to atone for the sins of the world? That's why God has to incarnate in the flesh (His only begotten Son, Lord Jesus), to die for the sins of the world, John 3:16; Romans 4:25;
As Lord Jesus said; Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
And if you believe in reincarnation, you mean some of those souls still waiting where they can reincarnate? And they're still all around and waiting for a new baby to be formed so that they can reincarnate? So, how sad to know you believe on such belief. for it does not make sense at all.
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. AMEN.

You may get a whole bunch of diverging ideas on this, some very legalistic, and some very exclusive. Some, will be more in line with the heart and spirit of Jesus. You will have to pick what makes most sense to you.
In John 9:41 he tells the pharisees that if they were blind to sin, they would not be guilty of sin. In another passage he says if you are given much, much is expected, given little, little is expected. There are other indicators too.
Jesus in his mercy and love would never punish a person who had no chance to know him. I suspect that a person's worth as a good and loving human would play a part in the eventual judgment.

Their souls were lost because they had no one to "die for their sins." This was not very good planning on "god's" part. Everybody was so wrapped up in the fact that Jesus came creeping along in his sandals and was sacrificed for our sins (you have to admit, it's a great story), that nobody bothered to think about all the peoples sins and souls who lived before that time.

In the Old Testament, the people were saved through the belief of a coming Messiah. Just like now, people are saved through the belief of a Messiah who has come, died, resurrected, and is coming again. Hope that answers ur question.

In Heaven if they believed God. They were the first ones through the gate after Jesus died and grabbed the keys from Satan.

some are in Paradise (Abraham's bossom.... a sort of sub-urb of Heaven), and some are in Hell (awaiting Judgement).
here's how it works (up to my knowledge).
God searches the heart. so if you sought truth and weren't sated or didn't stay with a pagan religion, you made it. this is beyond the Jewish faith. Jews who loved the Lord and who kept His commands made it. those who were judged by death, went to shoel (hell) but got out when Christ died.
God judges the heart. if you didn't seek Him, didn't want Him, or rejected Him in some way, you got sent to Hell. if you were sated in another religion, you went to hell. if you served God, but also Baal, Ishtar, Asira, etc.... you went to Hell. it's as simple as that. Hell is the place where one awaits judgement, it is temporary. the Lake of Fire and Brimstone however, is permanent and everlasting.
