I like the song " Amazing Grace" very much, but hard to know the meaning of this two word. Please tell me. Thank you.

Amazing Grace is a Christian hymn. It was written in 1748 by John Newton who converted to Christianity on his slave ship "Greyhound" & refers to his conversion & how it made him feel. See Wikipedia - Amazing Grace.

"Grace" means the kindness or generosity God shows to people. In the case of the song it means forgiveness. "Amazing" just describes the speaker's awe of the said grace.
